(mercy?) i am because we are; we are because god is; god is love. life may be ashes to ashes, but the ultimate relationship is love pouring into love? jesus is the explosive awareness that the one who creates, saves, and sustains me is also my friend. i actually do have a friend who won a nobel prize - even so, she's there for me as a friend (amazingly, room next to her at the same table)... how much more: the crown of creation!
